For the past year or so I’ve been traveling to Atlanta on a consistent basis and because it’s a 2.5 hour trip, I decided the time was best spent listening to sermons, lectures, and Scripture (though, not without a good cup of coffee to help keep me awake first). Anyhow, I figured there might be some out there who want/need some good audio content for your MP3 player (or want to burn some of this content to CDs) so here’s my short list of where you can find the best fishing:
- 400+ Atheism vs. Theism Debates Includes Christopher Hitchens vs. Al Sharpton
- The Ultimate Apologetics MP3 Audio Page Covers a wide range of issues and includes quite a bit of theological works.
- 70+ Free Audiobooks About Religion Includes the classics like Dante’s Inferno, Homer’s Iliad, The Bhagavad Gita, The Sayings of Confucius, Church History by Eusebius (324AD)
- The Veritas Forum A collection of lectures and forums delivered at major university campuses
- William Lane Craig Excellent philosophical and theological series
- BeThinking A European compendium of academic lectures along the lines of The Veritas Forum
- Peter Kreeft An excellent source for philosophy and commentaries on CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien
- Gary Habermas The definitive source for all things resurrection.
- Sermon Audio Excellent collection of puritan and reformed sermons and books
UPDATE: I’m going to continue to add links to sites I find helpful in the “Links” section.
